Original contemorary and modern impressionist oils
MARCUS KRACKOWIZER is one of a few new exciting original contemporary impressionists. He considers his nationality irrelevant to his paintings and trys to enjoy all aspects of the world, which in turn influence his paintings. Currently he is experimenting with pallet knife's while mixing much of the paint on the canvas creating an ever more abstract form of impressionism. The result is a rich, textured effect giving each painting a unique and interesting atmosphere close up and a rare energy and vibrancy from a distance.
Although he broke his neck, which limited the use of his hands, this has had little to no affect on the ideas and delivery. In addition to the original, Marcus has published limited edition prints on canvas of many of his paintings that promise to be investments in their own right. The relief Geclee prints are each individual, having a thick clear acrylic coat applied in the texture of the original producing a print that captures the light and developes a depth close to the original.
Take a look at his work and provide feedback at will, he certainly enjoys a discussion.
