London Parallax Exhibition, October 2011 - How It went

Thanks to everyone who came along, ether to the private views or during the days and to those who emailed their support. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting, drinking coffee, wine and a few dinners which made the whole event a social occasion for me even though I was sporting a tremendous cold. The show had a wide variety of artwork, which added a nice variety of sights. With the lovely weather and bright autumn sunshine, I pottered into the city during a few quiet moments and you're sure to see the results of those wondering in the coming months. I also sold a number of paintings which was great and has encouraged me to begin thinking about my next show. I've got next year in mind, maybe late spring or summer. I'd like to fill a bigger space next time so I need to get cracking and build up a varied collection. I have some ideas I think will work.

Below are a small collection of photos taken during the set up and the 2 private views. If you took any photos, do send them along and I'll put them up.

Parallax Art Exhibition 2011 - Setting Up

Setting up my area: Thanks so much to all the staff at Parallax for helping with care and attention to detail so I didn't have to worry.

Maestà delle Volte, Perugia - Setting Up

Setting up my area: Up goes 'Maestà delle Volte, Perugia' by an Italian guy which I thought was a nice touch. Covent Garden's Farmers Market is safely on the wall.

Parallax Art Exhibition 2011 - Thursday Private View

A good crowd came to the private view on Thursday night and from the number of empty wine bottles, I'd say people relaxed.

Parallax Art Exhibition 2011 - Friday Private View

A scene from Friday nights private view. A friend took control of my camera and you can just see my wheels amongst the crowd

Even after last orders and kick out, we managed to enjoy the evening. After this, everyone left came for dinner in Soho plus a few drinks for the road.
