Only a week ago I turned thirty and though I attribute no great significance to that number, one feels it to be a bit special nonetheless. Keleti was the gift I gave myself. I Googled 'impressionist train station'. And that was that! Among the picture results I saw this fantastic painting and clicked on it, eagerly wanting to find out what great French name would pop up and which museum had it in its collection! No French name, no museum (as yet), but certainly a happy collector! Does it meet my expectations, you asked. Quite simply, it outdoes them in every way! Of course you expect there to be a big difference between a picture on a computer screen and the real thing, but ... wow ... what an impact your painting makes. After opening the crate - excellent workmanship by the way - I just looked at the painting for at least an hour with what must have been a silly grin on my face; happiness mixed with a sense of disbelief that a thing of such beauty was really here, at home, and here to stay. Wonderful!
