Greener Grass-A3 Print on Satin paper

This painting is based on a friend of mine who came to visit, that is her sitting on the wall. She was not very happy, problems with her boyfriend and a sense that life was passing her by. She envied my single status and the apparent freedom that bought. I for my part occasionally look on couples and remember some good times, wondering if I will have those feeling again.

The prints quoted above are limited editions and unless otherwise requested, are sold stretched over a wooden frame ready to be hung. Editions are limited to 5 full size prints and 30 half sized prints. This series is a 'Relief Geclee', which is a technique I've been working on where I apply a very thick, textured clear acrylic coat to the print. This captures the lights in a similar way to the original, produces an individual textured effect and deepens the colours in the print. The result is a very good reproduction of the original.
